LumaFlow started with a simple belief: money is personal.

I’m Carissa — a mom of five, a full-time employee, and the independent founder behind LumaFlow. I built this app because managing money can be difficult when real life happens and you are not prepared.

After buying my first home, unexpected repairs began piling up. Our family grew by three more children, bringing us to five, and the financial tools I tried often left me feeling like one difficult month erased every bit of progress that came before it.

I wanted something different.

LumaFlow was built to help people see where they stand, plan what comes next, and build better habits without being defined by a difficult month. Budgets, bills, savings goals, debt progress, spending trends, and future forecasts belong together — because that’s how real life works.

I’ve been building LumaFlow one late night at a time, with the belief that progress deserves to be seen and celebrated.
